Trappers, located in Eagle’s Nest, is tucked into the hillside and adjacent to The Pub. It feels like a private cabin in the woods—an inviting, rustic yet delightfully comfortable bedroom. Rough cut pine lines the walls as does a charming mural. There is a recently added mudroom at the entrance and wood-burning fireplace of river stone opposite the sofa and armchairs. This was originally the caretaker's residence.
Birch trees form a four-poster king bed. From the wide mullioned windows, guests can see woods and water from indoors or enjoy the views from the private deck.
A dressing room leads to the spacious bathroom, where a double soaking tub with a lake view is next to the shower and long slate vanity with double sinks.
Trappers has a new private deck with wonderfully designed half log benches.
