The private master bedroom of the Rockefellers, located in the Main Lodge at the end of the Great Hall, is a favorite among guests. A canopied, king-size bed faces a wood-burning fieldstone fireplace and comfortable original chairs. The bedroom brims with gentle morning light, while the arched wood ceiling provides ample space overhead to enjoy the varying times of daylight and dusk on the lake.
Mohawk has a sitting area by the large windows, a writing desk and a walk-in closet. The glamorous bathroom with its vintage black and white tile, chrome fixtures, claw foot tub and separate waterfall shower ensures that guests will indulge in pampering, sleeping and dreaming.
Mohawk has a newly created private, outdoor area for dining and lounging by the fire pit. There is a path to the lake with a private hammock on the way for a rest.
