I am filled with excitement as the new General Manager of this historic Great Camp. With a deep respect for our guests, I realize that your experience is about more than just the days you are visiting. Your experience begins with the people you meet and those you connect with, and everyone brings something unique to the Great Hall table. Your time at The Point fosters lifelong friendships, deeper ties to those you love and feelings of contentment and relaxation.
With a bit of an interesting path to my current role, I want to bring together my past experiences to shape my work and vision for The Point. What has made me the leader I am today: running my family business and working for both Camp Dudley, the oldest continuously-operating camp in the U.S., and for Walt Disney World® in Florida. With my family, I saw the importance of having a family-minded work environment centered around honesty, accountability and teamwork. Adirondack-based Camp Dudley, with its strong foundation of time-honored traditions, helped me appreciate and understand what makes a historic Great Camp such as The Point so special. Working for Walt Disney World, I learned the value of exceptional guest service and striving for perfection even in the smallest details. I feel honored to bring these skills to The Point, where for the last seven years I have witnessed each day how unique and special this property is.
Creating an environment where guests and staff feel accepted, valued and like family is of the utmost importance to me. I have made it my mission to create a culture where staff at The Point can fully commit themselves to you, our guests. Whether you are a first-time guest or a long-time friend, I feel confident that our team will exceed your expectations. I look forward to continuing our traditions and adding even more to the already spectacular experience at The Point.
