Memorial Day Weekend: March 25 - 28, 2012
Kick off the season in true summer style at The Point with a Memorial Day brews and barbeque weekend!
Enjoy the tastes of Saranac beer as we welcome representatives from the Matt Brewing Company to The Point for beer tastings, traditional low and slow barbeque, and live music on the croquet lawn as we welcome a much anticipated summer season!
Chef Mark Levy's 1,000th Menu: June 8 - 11, 2012
In the summer of 2008, Chef Mark Levy joined the team at The Point. His vision was clear: craft perfection and do it nightly. Never allowing fads and trends to dictate the culinary atmosphere in his kitchen, Chef Mark has built a reputation amongst guests of The Point as an uncompromising epicure in pursuit of excellence. For the devoted guests of The Point, every visit has been marked with an experience of something new and wonderful and much like a snowflake, the same menu has never repeated.
Nearly four years later, Chef Mark has created just short of one thousand individual dinner menus. To honor Chef Mark for this amazing feat, The Point will be celebrating over the three night period of June 8 - 11, 2012; encompassing menus 999 through 1,001. Friday night, Chef Mark will create a menu of popular dishes from the past to show the progression of his unique style. Saturday night's black-tie dinner will be Chef Mark's nine-course magnum opus comprised of new dishes representing the present and a vision of what is to come from The Point's culinary team. On Sunday, enjoy a cooking demonstration and lesson with Chef Mark where he will share insight from his career and answer any questions you may have.
Spring Kids' Weekend at The Point: June 22 - 24, 2012
We are breaking all of our rules and are inviting you to bring your children for a family fun weekend in June! As summer approaches we thought you may want to enjoy all we have to offer with all the special people in your life, adult and pint-size.
The Main Lodge, The Guesthouse, Eagle's Nest and The Boathouse are available to host your whole family.
If you can't join us this June, consider us as your home away from home when we open our doors to children for four nights in November to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Fourth of July: July 3 - 6, 2012
Enjoy your Fourth of July relaxing on the shores of Upper Saranac Lake with us!
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, followed by an afternoon clambake with everything from a hike up one of our local Adirondack Mountains to a game of croquet on the lawn in between. We will finish the 4th in style with a seven-course black tie affair dinner and a private fireworks display from the terrace! The evening is sure to end in roaring bonfire at the point of The Point with many old friends and new friends alike.
